ADMISSION NOTIFICATION
COMPREHENSIVE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME IN OPHTHALMOLOGY
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to 2 (two in number) seats of the 18 month long Comprehensive Fellowship Programme in Ophthalmology [Anterior Segment and IOL] to be conducted by and at Nirmal Ashram Eye Institute (NEI), Rishikesh.

• DURATION: 18 Months

• ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: MS (Ophthalmology) / Diploma in Ophthalmology (approved by MCI / NMC) or DNB (Ophthalmology)

NIRMAL ASHRAM EYE INSTITUTE
Nirmal Ashram Eye Institute (NEI) was established as a charitable Institute in March 2005 and is a state-of-the-art eye care hospital run by Nirmal Mission for Vision Society (NMVS), Rishikesh. NMVS functions under the aegis of Nirmal Ashram, Rishikesh, which is a public charitable trust. His Holiness, Mahant Baba Ram Singh Ji is the present spiritual head of the Ashram and Sriman Sant Baba Jodh Singh Ji, General Secretary, looks after all philanthropic activities of the Ashram and its sister Institutions. The hospital is dedicated to the service of humanity and is committed to, primarily, address the problem of curable blindness in rural and remote areas of Uttarakhand as also in the adjoining districts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.
SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process shall involve an exhaustive interview, which shall be conducted by an Admission Committee, comprising members from NEI. Admission to the Fellowship Programme shall be offered to applicants based on their standing in the final merit list.
The said Fellowship Programme shall be conducted, in totality, at NEI Campus, Rishikesh and Certificates shall be awarded by NEI to all successful candidates.
