Ms. Pawar brings with her 30 years of experience in health care.
She has to her distinction the coveted assessorship of the CII EXIM Bank Award for Business/HR/Healthcare Excellence (Evaluation based on European Foundation of Quality Management). In this role, Ms. Pawar has assessed companies in diverse industries ranging from mining to manufacturing to healthcare. A few notable names in her repertoire include industry leaders like JK Tyres, AVB Group, Vedanta Group, Apollo Hospitals, Moolchand Medcity and Amara Raja Group (Amaron).
Ms. Pawar regularly interacts with the academia and has served as guest faculty for Patient Safety (WHO Module) at various medical colleges and hospitals. She frequently serves as visiting faculty at Management Schools.
On the consultancy front, Ms. Pawar’s expertise lies in advising green and brown field projects, especially in rural & remote India.
She has also made a mark for herself in training and is a reputed Pan India Soft Skills trainer.
Professional and Academic Qualifications
Ms. Pawar has a Microbiology (Honors) degree (Applied component Group-Environmental Science) from Mumbai University and a specialized Business Management course with Total Quality Management (TQM) as core specialization from Amity Business School of Management, New Delhi.
Ms. Pawar is passionate about Healthcare Management. She has completed a course on Lean Healthcare Management from Simpler Consulting (A Truven Healthcare Company), UK, and holds significant expertise in healthcare process improvement through Lean Management. She has completed the WHO Module on Patient Safety (accredited by Indian Confederation for Healthcare accreditation) and is certified implementer of NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare providers) standards.
An avid scholar, Ms. Pawar has co-authored and published many research papers in International Scholarly Journals.
She is Certified Clinical Trainer from Kimberley Clark, USA., and is a member of many International & National Societies & Associations, notable among them being the International Nosocomial Infection Control Consortium (INICC), Argentina, Hospital Infection Society, India, Quality Council of India, Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists and the Indian Confederation for Healthcare Accreditation.
